halfmarble is a patient-led effort building deterministic, traceable ("Glass Box") tools for continuous, real-world measurement of Parkinson's: medication pharmacokinetics, objective motor function, and metabolic / bioenergetic state. We are the measurement layer — the instrument that helps tell whether an intervention is working in daily life — not a treatment. Everything is positioned under the FDA 2019 General Wellness Policy; halfmarble does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Maturity, stated plainly: the software measurement tools (the SteadyDoseTracker levodopa-PK visualization, SteadyFastingTracker, SteadyHeartBeat) are available today — as web tools, and a SteadyHeartBeat public beta on request — or in active development. The UnSteadyRing sensing hardware — finger rings + wrist hubs + an ankle hub for gait and freezing-of-gait — is in early R&D (design stage); no device is built yet. We will not present it as further along than it is.

To be candid: there is no IRB-approved data-sharing program in place today, and halfmarble has not run formal validation studies of its measures against clinical scales. Any future research data sharing would be opt-in, IRB-approved, and aggregate-only. We are actively seeking the right IRB pathway and partners to do this properly.
Glass Box. Algorithmic logic is deterministic and traceable to peer-reviewed science — no opaque models for clinical features. The site and tools are open for independent review on GitHub.
IP. Seventeen provisional patent applications have been filed across the sensing architecture — defensively, so that no company can lock these tools away from patients. The intent is to keep the architecture open and, in time, steward the IP through a non-profit.
